Rage - Image 1Yesterday we reported about some framerate issues dogging the PS3 version of id Software's upcoming multiplatform title, Rage. As id puts it, word of the framerate issue -- which had the game running at 20 to 30 FPS on the PS3 compared to a smooth 60 on Xbox 360 and PC -- caused "quite a ruckus." They have now moved to assure gamers "a great Rage experience" on all platforms.

God of War III - Image 1IGN Australia managed to catch up with God of War III lead designer Todd Papy and the short interview shed some light on the graphical and technical aspects of Kratos and his knack for killing everything that moves. Since the dev team has a lot of PS3 power to work with, Papy has plenty of room to learn, to polish, and to share knowledge with other developers.

GoW3You've seen the cyclops riding vid from earlier, yes? If not, I suggest you do so now. That footage was taken from a God of War III panel with SCE Santa Monica's developers, Jim Tilander and Vassily Fillipov, where they discussed the game's framerate and other development details - like Kratos' man-skirt not having physics.

BioShock - Image 1So apparently the PS3 version of BioShock (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) doesn't have quite the same level of graphics as its Xbox 360 counterpart. This has caused quite a furor on the game's official forums, and so community managers from 2K Games have stepped in to give some answers.
