Scheduled for a 2009 release in Japan, Demon's Souls is an action-RPG set in what looks like a world taken from the same pages of Shadow of the Colossus. Check out the scans in the full article for more info - yeah it looks like a promising game and all... just wish it'd get some confirmation of a Western release outside of Japan.

Sony has published the full list of all the PS3 and PSP games that will end up in the Tokyo Game Show event next weekend. Curious? Hellzyeah, you better be! A handful of the games have already been confirmed before (LittleBigPlanet, Dissidia, etc. - we've heard tons about them already), however, Sony's promising to announce 14 new titles we've never even heard of before. MGS5? Too soon. Zone of the Enders 3? Perhaps. Resident Evil PSP? Hmm... Hope some more. See the full list after the jump!

In a recent entry made on the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) website, it seems like side-scrolling addicts will be getting a treat in the near future as the organization gave an E rating for Irem's R-Types title for the PlayStation 3 and the PlayStation Portable. This bundled version based on the classic R-Type shooter title will soon be making its way as a digital download on the PlayStation Network service. More details about the game in our full article.

Remember Irem's Bumpy Trot on the PS2? Some of you might know it better under its US title, Steambot Chronicles. Now some of you might have heard that it was getting a sequel, and back in last year's TGS, it was announced to be released for the PS2. What some of you might not know is that it's actually getting a bumped up trot over to the PlayStation 3!

Sweet. Considering that some people thought that what prevented the previous installment from being a really really great game was its technical hitches, a sequel on the PS3 leaves us wanting to see more.

Even more promising news comes in the form of a trailer! Well, sort of. We don't actually have the trailer just yet, but as IGN reports, it will debut in next week's Tokyo Game Show. We'll definitely keep an eye out for that.
