Jump Festa '09 is drawing closer, with only but a couple of weeks to go before the event unfolds. Square Enix is making sure that you'll be dropping in as they prepare a hefty lineup of goods to show for you.

Final Fantasy XIII may have lost its exclusivity (half of it, at least) to the Xbox 360, but I'm still going to play the darned thing. Which is why this leaked Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer from Jump Festa 2007 still has me hyped. Watch the vid in the full article.

Yep, we may hear something good about Square Enix' Final Fantasy XIII soon. According to the latest issue of Famitsu (which also has a nice feature on Idolm@ster's sequel), the Japanese magazine will have new FFXIII info come January 25. For the past couple of weeks now, there have been rumors circulating around that Square Enix will be revealing new trailers for PlayStation 3 exclusives Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy Versus 13 at the upcoming Jump Festa 2008 event.

The company then confirmed recently that it will indeed showcase new trailers at the event. Now we have word that some lucky Japanese fans have already seen said Final Fantasy trailers after getting an early copy of the concept art book CLOUD. More details after the jump!

Well, it's confirmed. If any of you guys have a convenient ticket going to Japan, now would be a good time to book it so you can catch the Jump Festa 2008 event.
