Sony may not have had anything big to announce regarding the PS3 hardware this week, but news about the console's software has continued to pour in. We heard stuff about the God of War III demo, the Uncharted movie (Wolverine as Nate Drake?), and this one scene in Modern Warfare 2 that's raised the hackles of a few. The Network got some attention as well, what with Netflix finally being confirmed and all. Oh, and that banned Resistance guy still hasn't given up on suing Sony. I guess some people just don't learn.

Now that Tekken 6 has arrived on the consoles, the action must be going non-stop, round after round, for those who already have a copy. For the Tekken action you didn't catch, you can see now. Celebrating the Tekken franchise's 15th anniversary this year, Katsuhiro Harada took the Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion movement to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as an opportunity to rework the game's graphics. One of the big improvements to hit the release is the addition of the full-time variable blur - a first for fighting games. This feature adds to the overall visual impact of Tekken 6, applying more emphasis to the movement of each character.

Tekken 6 executive producer Katsuhiro Harada spoke of "console-specific" content earlier today at a Namco Bandai presentation. It won't be the first time for us to read about console exclusivities when it comes to Tekken 6 content, but what we have now is a confirmation from the publisher's brass. It is a well-known fact that the Tekken series grew up on the PlayStation, and it sometimes feels a little different that the latest of the series, Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion, will come to both the PS3 and Xbox 360. But according to Tekken 6 project lead Katsuhiro Harada, despite the loss of Tekken's PlayStation exclusivity, the PS3 is still the best console for the latest Namco Bandai fighter.
