Time for another update on what's new on the U.S. PlayStation Store. The good news? The July 2008 episode of Qore is now available along with more downloadable tracks for Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock. The bad news? No demos. At all. A Sony document in circulation has revealed some interesting details regarding the company's plans for the PS3 and PSP. For one, there's the prospect of a new video download service that might be introduced to PSN by this summer. Further details are available in the full article.

As impressive-looking as Killzone 2 already is, the final game may prove to be even better. The August issue of EGM has a 12-page feature on the game, and one of the big points is that Killzone 2 is already using four and a half of the Cell's six available SPEs. More in the full article.

The DFC Intelligence analyst group is back with new predictions. This time, they're forecasting what will drop for the three current-generation consoles in 2008 and beyond. Yeah, it's a bit of a downer that Guerrilla Games' Killzone 2 was delayed to next year, but that's okay when we take into consideration what it will bring to the table by the time it hits. Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has just unveiled its planned launch lineup for this year up until early 2009. Killzone 2 will indeed be arriving by next year, although the PSP gamers will be getting a reprieve with an earlier-than-expected launch date for Secret Agent Clank. We're pretty sure that a number of gamers are anxiously waiting for Guerrilla Games'  Killzone 2 to come out.
