PS3 Weekend Warrior - Image 1So what transpired in the world of Sony's PS3 this week? Nate Drake's newest adventure is certainly off to a good start. And then there's word that the PS3 is continuing its newfound sales spurt in the land down under. Oh, and here's a no-brainer: rumblings about new entries in two of the PS3's biggest franchises have started to trickle out from the rumor mill. All in all, another good week for the PS3. Well, except maybe for that one particular console they threw into the Bravia. It didn't seem to get too banged up though.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - Image 1Amy Hennig of Naughty Dog has said that Uncharted 2 has been performing beyond expectations. If you're the type who needs actual statistics before you believe statements like that, maybe this will help. Nathan's second adventure, Among Thieves, has been found to have moved approximately 836,000 units -- in its first week alone, worldwide. This number puts it nicely at the number 2 position among the fastest selling PS3 exclusive title.

Ozzy - Image 1If you can work your way through all the swearing and the accent, you might be able to figure this one out. Rock icon Ozzy Osborne had a favorite game, too. He told Kotaku all about it, and judging by all that swearing, he must've really loved that one. Problem was, nobody could quite nail the guessing game. Can you? Oh, and be advised, there's always some plentiful swearing in an Ozzy interview.

PS3 Weekend Warrior - Image 1 Four games dominated the bulk of the hot gaming news that hit the PS3 blog this week -- Uncharted 2, God of War III, LittleBigPlanet, and Killzone 2. The latter two have already been out for a while now but thanks to continued support from their respective developers, PS3 gamers have been getting a steady supply of new content post-launch. As for the first two titles, well, if you're a PS3 owner and you haven't heard of them yet then you really should try and look for another place to live in. I hear sleeping under rocks isn't good for your health.
