Now depending on which storyline you're taking from (the SF manga or the video games), Akuma supposedly killed Gouken. All that seems to be water under the bridge now (ret-con!) and Gouken's just waaay pissed for whatever reason. And as we know of sibling rivalries, reasons for fighting are just optional.

The CES Street Fighter IV (PS3, 360) Showdown draws near and the competing publishers are making sure that they own at the epic battle.
