Rumor has it that Electronic Arts will be adding more people to its list of cut employees. The target? Pandemic Studios.

A college student from Cal State Fullerton was arrested by federal agents on Monday by illegally running a home business of modifying Xbox, Playstation, Wii and other video game consoles to enable the machines to play pirated video games.

He's a future astrophysicist, a martial artist, a College Degree holder at the age of 11, and he doesn't like video games. Child prodigy Moshe Kai Cavalin graduated with honors from East Los Angeles Community College just last week, and made it known to the world that he thinks video games are "a waste of time."

The Godfather may be the boss of the mafia, but he still answers to a bigger boss - his publisher! Despite his swagger and thug-smoking powers, Electronic Arts remains his real Corleone, and according to EA Games' president Frank Gibeau, "We're not going to do another one." After getting rescued by EA Games after his old family, Brash Entertainment, went out of business, the Godfather may need to go look for another family for publishing.

The Swine Flu (now officially known as the H1N1 virus) is proving to cause a huge damper on the upcoming E3 festivities. With just literally a couple of weeks before the curtains rise to start what could be the biggest games show of the year, we have attendees going over the list and checking it twice, for fear of the said virus. Capcom Japan would be one such attendee.

Ubisoft has revealed their plans for the E3 Expo. Sure, they'll have their own booth on the show floor, but their press conference will be held on June 1 in an invitation-only set up at the Los Angeles Theater. They'll be bringing Assassin's Creed 2, Red Steel 2, Rabbids Go Home, a couple new games, and special guests during the event "to thrill attendees and web viewers."

Umm, Jade Raymond, anyone?

With 13 confirmed cases of the H1N1 Swine Flu in California, Governor Arnie's raised a State of Emergency. If the situation doesn't improve within a month, the E3 Expo might not push through. Despite these risks, the ESA event organizers are optimistic that the E3 will indeed happen, come hell, high water, or pandemic (and by pandemic, I'm obviously not referring to the studio).

Big day today for aspiring LittleBigPlanet creators. There's a new free pack containing some creation tutorials on the US PlayStation Store. Should be useful for those who want to learn more about creating their own stages in LittleBigPlanet. The PSP version of the PlayStation Store still continues to be sparse, but at least there's a new downloadable game there in the form of Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters.
