PS3 Weekend Warrior - Image 1 Four games dominated the bulk of the hot gaming news that hit the PS3 blog this week -- Uncharted 2, God of War III, LittleBigPlanet, and Killzone 2. The latter two have already been out for a while now but thanks to continued support from their respective developers, PS3 gamers have been getting a steady supply of new content post-launch. As for the first two titles, well, if you're a PS3 owner and you haven't heard of them yet then you really should try and look for another place to live in. I hear sleeping under rocks isn't good for your health.

PS3 - Image 1In his interview with Eurogamer, Epic Games' Mark Rein talks about the many sides of the industry - from game development, consumer status quo, all the way to publisher strategies. Many interesting points were brought up, but one of the more notable bits of info gathered is his take on the PS3 price cut talk. Mark Rein reckons that with Sony's financial difficulties this year, a price cut was out of the question.

Epic Games acquires Chair Entertainment - Image 1Epic Games announced that it has recently acquired Chair Entertainment, the dev studio behind the Xbox Live Arcade title Undertow.

Chair's also working on a game series based on the "Ender's Game" novels, so it'll be interesting to see how this new arrangement will affect that project. More details on the acquisition are available in the full article.
