 Pandemic studios has been known to take its sweet time as it teases fans about its upcoming releases. Such isn't the case today as a lot more than hints about their upcoming games has been dropped. Fresh off THQ and JAKKS Pacific's grapple comes WWE Legends of WrestleMania, an upcoming wrestling game based on the world's most popular professional wrestling association for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3. While a lot of video game development companies are hungry for middleware or busy acquiring Unreal Engine 3, Eden Games took the time to develop its own engine. It appears hardwork paid off, because they came up with technology flexible enough to give Alone in the Dark (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360, PC) - a survival horror title - driving sequences among all things. It seems like Sony's PlayStation 3 is flying high as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's David Reeves happily announced outstanding sales for the next-gen console over its closest rival, the Xbox 360. The numbers shown during the ongoing PlayStation Day event told of how the PS3 has already made over five million unit sales in Europe with various supplementary sales made from both the PlayStation 2 and the PlayStation Portable platforms. We haven't run out of Grand Theft Auto 4 (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) reports as of late (with recent freezing problems and banning in other countries). This only goes to show that as far as popularity goes, GTA IV is on top of the list.
