A new report from the NPD Group shows that the population of girl gamers is increasing. Eh? Girls play video games? Kidding. So does that mean we'll see more fangirls shouting "PWN!" when playing Grand Theft Auto IV online? Probably not. The NPD Group has released a compiled list of the top five best-selling games for each of the consoles. The report tracks sales data from the start of this year all the way up until August. Thanks in large part to Konami's Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Sony is licking some serious PlayStation 3 sales chops.
