Part of the charm of the Uncharted franchise is, undoubtedly, the witty script brought to life by voice actors such as Nolan North. But what's this we hear that for its Hollywood version, Sony will be signing up "household actors" instead for the parts, thereby overlooking North for the lead part of Nathan?

As it is, there were already a lot of expectations for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Amy Hennig is proud to say that even with all the acclaim and the anticipation for the game, Uncharted 2 still exceeded expectations and Naughty Dog can only be too happy about the outcome. As for those who just can't get enough of Nathan Drake, good news, there will be DLC to keep the gaming going.

Friday, October 23rd will be a big day for PlayStation Home as it marks the arrival of three spaces dedicated to three major titles of the year: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Street Fighter IV, and Tekken 6. For now, let's take a look at the goodies that we'll be expecting when the update hits.

Naughty Dog's so far consistently impressed us with the amazing quality of their PS3 games, limited though it may be (for now) to the Uncharted franchise. however, it looks like although they have sure found a hit with the adventures of Nathan Drake, the team dogs are out to bark at yet another tree.

Fans of the first Uncharted title will recognize who I am talking about. If not, then it's time for you to meet Donut Drake. He's the bloated version of usually lean Nathan Drake, and he'll be available as a "secret" (well, not so secret anymore) playable character straight off Uncharted 2's menu. Skeletal uncle, Sir Francis Drake, is also joining in on the adventure.

We're still waiting for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves to come along, but we already know that it won't be the last for Nathan Drake and Naughty Dog. No one said anything about sticking to the PS3 all the way, though. Through an interview with the Examiner, Naughty Dog's Evan Wells reveals that Drake's next adventure could take him straight into uncharted territory - the PSP.

After topping the Game Critics Awards Best of E3 2009, getting much acclaim, and thousands of fans eagerly awaiting the return of Nathan Drake, there's can be no doubt that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is one of the biggest titles coming this fall. It hasn't been released yet, but already there's talk on a third installment to the franchise. Lucky for us, Naughty Dog creative director Amy Hennig has confirmed - Uncharted 2 will not be the last Uncharted.

Stepping up the PS3 charge this year is Uncharted 2: Among Thieves which just went gold officially for North America. Of course, SCEA isn't gonna let the whole thing go by without a bang - they've partnered with Sony Electronics to produce four exclusive "sneak peek" events for ol' Drake's next big gig.

Over at the ongoing PAX 2009, Naughty Dog has released another three minutes of stunning gameplay footage of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The latest video shows Nathan Drake on a speeding train fighting his way out against an enemy helicopter. Check out the video after the break.
