It's become a classic he said-he said. Pitted against each other are the movie prod's claim that the Street Fighter movie will be coming out on March 2009 in a simultaneous launch with the SFIV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) games. Ono-san, however, says he does not know of any simultaneous release. Confused much? Yeah, we are too. Good thing he also talks about parrying and a lot of other things.

Though the original source of this news tidbit has disappeared at press time, an article posted up at the Czech portal of Tiscali's gaming news had a scan of the latest issue of the nation's Official Xbox Magazine. And it sported a cover story revolving around Sierra's expansion pack to Massive Entertainment's World in Conflict (PC, Xbox 360) - World in Conflict: Soviet Assault. Plenty of new features were revealed, but they're currently focused on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the alternate-history RTS.

You remember how Bethesda said that Fallout 3 will have 12 different endings? Massive eh? Yeah, well, that's not gonna happen. Instead, it's going to have 200 different endings! Whoa. A release schedule of what seems to be the March DLC lineup for Harmonix and MTV Games' Rock Band (Xbox 360, PS3, PS2) has surfaced. We're tagging this one as a rumor for now, but the lineup - which includes songs from artists like Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Evile and Nine Inch Nails - sure does look interesting. Sony recently passed on an offer made by the Official Xbox Magazine to review the Sony Bravia HDTV. It seems the reason the Sony rep gave was that OXM is a Microsoft-focused publication, a point that is an area of conflict for them since Sony manufactures the competing PlayStation brand. More face-melting goodness will be arriving in the next few months, as OXM reveals part of the downloadable content expected to complement Harmonix's Rock Band (PS3, PS2, Xbox 360). Picks include three additional tracks from the Police, and three to six from Metallica. For the punk rock fans, there will also be Buzzcocks' cover song "Ever Fallen in Love" and "Rockaway Beach" by the Ramones. The Official Xbox Magazine has given Call of Duty 4 a perfect score of 10/10. For those who might remember, the last time OXM gave a perfect score was when they got their hands on BioShock.

Infinity Ward and Activision must be happy with the stellar feedback. Maybe some of you guys aren't even surprised. CoD4 doesn't fail to impress. Now, unfortunately, the details and reasons why OXM gave the perfect score to COD4 haven't been revealed yet. Was it for the graphics? Control handling? Maybe the AI?

Though this comes from the Official Xbox Magazine and they probably were rating the 360 version of the game, we couldn't help but post this on the PS3 and PC blogs as well, just so everyone knows what to expect from the game.

Non-believers of the Grand Theft Auto franchise have always maintained that Rockstar North has already done everything possible for the controversial video game. However, we've seen from previous reports that the new title for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is packed with quite a few surprises.

Add this next one to that list: According to the gta4.net website, one thing accidentally slipped through to the Official Xbox Magazine (OXM) while getting a demo of the game. Accordingly, an information prompt came up on the top left side of the screen when they approached the parked car in Broker from behind.

The prompt indicated the player to press the "LB" button (equivalent of the PlayStation controller's "L1" button) to open the trunk of the car. As far as we are concerned, opening car trunks in the GTA universe is something entirely new. Fans have actually anticipated this same feature for GTA: San Andreas but as you all know, it was only part of a cut scene.

Rockstar North is still keeping mum about the matter but feel free and discuss the implications of this feature. Can we use that trunk to house bigger weapons? Or maybe, just maybe, we will be able to hide people in there regardless if it's part of a mission or not.
