PS2 Still standing - Image 1That's not a typo on the title, you read that right. "New" and "PS2" can still be used in the same sentence, without being a smart-ass. The PS3 has just turned three, and its nine-year-old older brother is still making progress - believe it or not, Sony has just officially launched the PlayStation 2 in Brazil.

Heavy Rain - Image 1Quantic Dream's David Cage was never really shy about professing his undying love for Sony's PlayStation 3. In fact, any chance he gets, he'll unabashedly rave about it. Like at the Developer Session at the Eurogamer Expo in London today. Here he reiterates yet again his already well-known sentiment: Heavy Rain just won't work on any other console.

On Shelves This Week - Image 1We have a rather sizeable haul of new games this week. The cream of the crop includes such titles as Tekken 6, DJ Hero, Forza Motorsport 3, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time, and that undying (not undead -- no, that would actually be cool) Petz series. Dig in and see which games fit your tastes and budget.

On Shelves This Week - Image 1A lot of games are coming out this week. A veritable rainbow of releases, if you will. If we scale it, the red part (ROY G BIV, remember?) would include big titles like Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for PSP, Borderlands, WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 and FIFA Soccer 10. On the violet side (more like bruise purple, really) we have the Charm Girls Club games and another Imagine [Insert Occupation Here] release. Hit the jump and let's get this ball rolling.

Stan Lee - Image 1Take this from a guy whose brilliant mind turned figments of the imagination into glorious cultural icons. No less than the man behind Marvel himself, Stan Lee, has expressed his admiration and respect for gaming development. His exact words: "It's lke a miracle."

ICO - Image 1 Ever since Sony confirmed the God of War Collection for the PS3, I've been wondering what combo can come next. Everybody's got their own bets, but a pack combining ICO and Shadow of the Colossus seems to be one of the more popular ideas. In fact, even Team Ico head honcho Fumito Ueda wants to see it happen.
