Whoa, way overdue, but this is a good batch for last week's PSN video content update, largely because I
still get laughs out of The 40-Year-Old-Virgin. Other notables include
the unrated director's cut of Miami Vice, Gran Torino, Sniper, and the
zombie movies Dawn and Land of the Dead - both unrated. You get to
catch those in glorious HD, as well as other movies now available for
download. |

After dreaming of a white Christmas, red is the new black. Michal Birecki happily tells us that the paint and clear coats on his custom-painted red 60GB PS3 are all dry, and eBay is now open for bids.
By the way, if the photos don't tell you already, that ain't just any run-of-the-mill red he's used. He's specifically chosen the Maserati Red color swatch for tres, tres erotique... what? You guys haven't run your hands down the smooth curves of a sleek sports car, and feel the temptation to take her out for a spin? You guys need to get out more. Well, if any of you readers happens to own a red Maserati GranTurismo, guess you have your in-car entertainment system up and ready on eBay. And after this... Michal says that he'll set up an ordering system for the common man to order his own custom-painted PS3 directly from PS3 Center.net. So if you've ever wanted your PS3 in Jaguar racing green... or pastels. And a big thanks for telling us about this, Michal! Paris Hilton thinks that the other pictures of the Maserati Red PS3 in the painting process are hot, too. Paris Hilton could afford to buy a Maserati, damn it. |

Sony sure knows how to cater to its market. Especially when you're talking about the Hollywood's elite list. Throwing a totally exclusive PS3 debut party for the who's who of the entertainment industry, Sony pulled out all stops for the event held last November 8 at a Beverly Hills landmark. So this news is three days old. Big deal. The big deal is that it shows just how much anticipation the PS3 is actually generating, that even them high and mighty stars just had to take a breather from their hectic schedules for a tryout. Pretty much, these celebrities got a good headstart from all of us still waiting for the PS3, because they already got to play it. With a party added in! And boy, don't that make you wish you went to that Nickelodeon audition some ten years ago? Dang. You could have been a star! And then, you would have been invited to this event. But no. Anyway, back to reality. David Arquette and Nick Cannon weren't able to resist Resistance: Fall of Man, Genji: Days of the Blade and NBA 07. Other stars like James Franco and Jamie-Lynn Sigler checked out the movie quality on the PS3, while RnB singer Christina Milian, along with Nicky Hilton, surfed the web and the other media devices of the console. Meanwhile, Paris Hilton, now reunited with best friend Nicole Richie, enjoyed a special performance of Diddy. Oh, admit it. You like hearing about what celebrities are up to. And to know that they're just as anxious over the PS3's arrival like the rest of us mere mortals are, well, it kinda makes us want to believe that the stars are far more closer than they are. |
