Finally, the underwater version of the popular PixelJunk franchise, PixelJunk Shooters, has been pegged to a more specific release window. Dylan Cuthbert of Q-Games tweeted about their prospective launch date in Japan.

Q-Games president Dylan Cuthbert has laid out some co-op gameplay details for PixelJunk Shooter, the next PS3 iteration in the studio's PixelJunk series of games. One of the things Q-Games has focused on for PixelJunk Shooter has been making the co-op mode as "de-stressed" as possible, and so they've added in a feature that lets you save your companion's ship if they get in some trouble.

The next PixelJunk game has been given a name. Last month, Dylan Cuthbert of Q-Games launched a name-that-game contest based on the trailer of their new addition to the PixelJunk franchise. And now the winner has been chosen. It is now dubbed as PixelJunk Shooter.
