With the new NBA season prepping for the tip-off tonight, EA Sports also readies a patch to activate the Dynamic Season feature that'll sync NBA Live 10 with the real NBA action. Also adding to the action will be quite a number of bug fixes and gameplay adjustments to make sure you keep playing all-season long. Wouldn't make much sense getting a season-long feature if you're gonna give up on the buggy gameplay on the first week, yes?

Remember the PS3 3D demo Sony showed off at CES earlier this year? Well 3D talk is back again, and this time there's now a date for when PS3 owners can experience it.

Saving replays is so last gen. With the Cinema Mode feature in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, you can turn your cool in-game clips into your very own movies, so you can show off what your Trophies cannot. Check the vid and see for yourself.

During E3 last week, Sony upped the vids of their two-hour presscon on the PlayStation Store in three parts. In an effort to keep the kids in the know about their goods without having to expose them to all the blood and gore, Sony kept Part 3 kid-friendly by cutting out all them nasty M-Rated stuff out of the video. Unfortunately, someone forgot to include "audio" in the editing to-do list, and the vid resulted into gamers from all over going "WTF?!" all over their living rooms.

Developer Corey David of Psyonix studios let it loose in a forum post that PlayStation 3 Firmware v2.7.0 would come later this month. He says that this update "contain(s) lots of fun new fixes" although he didn't go into the specifics. Details have been revealed, however, by a member of the GameTrailers forums, claiming to be in Sony R&D. More info after the jump.

Neobara of the GT Forums has decided to throw them (and by offshoot, us) a bone in the form of some insider information pertaining to the details for PS3 Firmware 2.7. According to a friend of his who works in an R&D department at Sony, there are some heavy whoppers coming our way for FW 2.7. Voice messaging as an alternative to text in Friends List, Recent Trophy History feature, and Internet Browser accessibility even while in-game are but some of the new additions that are packaged within the new FW. Developer shagrath has released his update on his PS3 homebrew app, PS3 Media Server v1.0.2.1. It's actually a quickfix for this serious bug found in 1.02, which he released just the other day, which essentially prevents the application from running.

It ain't over till it's over. Yes, fanboys and fangirls. The whole brouhaha over the Xbox 360 version of FFXIII is still abuzz, and yet there really seems to be no rest for the wicked (no pun intended). Producers Shinji Hashimoto and Yoshinori Kitase have finally opened up about the Xbox 360 version, as well as a confirmation on the FFVII announcement that's sure to "shock the fans." *Gasp!*

A new technology called BD Touch from NetBlender will be introduced this Thursday which will feature the possible fusion of Sony's Blu-ray technology with Apple's iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
