Contrary to what online gamers may generally believe, it's actually not Killzone 2 or Resistance 2 that racks up the most number of online connections simultaneously in-game. That honor belongs to none other than SOCOM: Confrontation, and SCEA has got the community's commitment to thank for it.

Slant Six has finally revealed the release date of the upcoming DLC pack for SOCOM: Confrontation. It was announced that the DLC will be released later this summer. No other details was given as of the moment, but we can expect  to hear more info about the content in the upcoming weeks.

Patches, patches, patches are still coming for Slant Six's PS3 shooter, SOCOM: Confrontation. Patch 1.50 is now reportedly feature complete and in testing, and while it's not yet out the devs have decided it's a good time as any to announce a few features in patch 1.60. Details after the jump.

Yet another patch has been released for SOCOM: Confrontation. Slant Six has been busy tweaking your game to get your game on. This time around, it's been more of an update for spawning fixes and kicking issues.

All we've heard about SOCOM: Confrontation lately is its delayed release in Europe. Here's something to perk everyone up though - especially those in the US.

According to a Slant Six insider source, it looks like they're prepping quite a huge DLC update for Confrontation. New maps, new weapons, a new faction? This looks huge!

European fans who are eagerly awaiting for SOCOM: Confrontation's already-delayed-as-it-is February release may get burned even more. Now, reports are coming in that the game is pushed back to March! Understandably, European gamers are getting antsy and frustrated. There's even talk of dropping SOCOM orders altogether and maybe getting Killzone 2 instead. Uh-oh... Looks like SCE and Slant Six are in a jam.

SOCOM: Confrontation has been out in North America for more than a month now. In Europe, it's supposed to come out on November 28. Thing is, we've just heard word that the game might not make its scheduled release date.

SOCOM: Confrontation has already gotten patch after patch, but there's one feature that probably won't be making it into the game no matter how hard fans ask for it: joining a game in progress from a friends or clan list.
