Square Enix just might be ready to reveal the North American release date for Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PS3)
anytime in the near future now. A script for a Casting Call shows that
they do have something cooking for the big reveal, complete with
dramatic dialogue and all that jazz. |

The last we've heard of Final Fantasy Versus XIII
was at the TGS 09 about a month ago. While Square Enix has been hit
with criticisms as to the in-development footage of the game, Tetsuya
Nomura has now come out to clear out the air by divulging some more
information on the matter. |

Remember that awesome Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) trailer
we posted the other day? It now comes with English subtitles, so you
won't have to make up your own lines to fill the dialogues any more.
They sure got that done real quick, don't you just wish that the same
can be said about Square Enix game localization? |

Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and yes, even Kingdom Hearts. Square Enix stands on the pillars of its great franchises, those three among them. If you love those three, then this might come as good news to you - Yoichi Wada wants to add two to three more franchises to that list. |

It's been a while since we've heard of any industry-related job cuts,
and for some time back there, it looked like everything was getting
back on the right track. Then we get this. Square Enix Japan is being rumored to be getting ready to bring down the axe on some 200 to 300 jobs in their company. |

Just when you thought that we've seen pretty much everything we need to see in Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) before the launch, Square Enix pulls out a trump card of a trailer and brandishes it at the Tokyo Game Show. If eye-popping cinematics, fireworks, and a whole lot of action are your thing, then you'll be in for a ride for the next seven minutes. |

Despite announcing an FF-clad lineup after packing its bags for TGS 09, Square Enix didn't include Final Fantasy Versus XIII on that list. Famitsu was covering the action in Tokyo when Tetsuya Nomura showed the world what he has been busy with. Good news for us, more details about the PS3-exclusive part of Fabula Nova Crystallis coming our way. |

Aspiring cosplayers wanting to complete the Cloud Strife look can finally add a touch of authenticity to the getup that no paper mache and plastic can give. You've got your Buster Sword, you've dyed your hair yellow and waxed it into pointy tips, you've even got the bulky SOLDIER boots, now to cap it all off, Square Enix brings you the Cloud Strife Eau de Toilette. |

We've been so attuned to the hardware sales charts the past couple of
weeks, thanks to Media Create, so for a change, let's veer our sights
to softwares. For the week of September 14-20, Pokemon Soul Silver and HeartGold take spots number 1 and 2, respectively. |
