Ever wondered what it's like to work at a gaming studio much like Insomniac Games? Imagine: beef jerky, masseurs, a free cruise for your time off? (Oh, and getting to play Resistance and Ratchet & Clank games waaaay ahead of everyone else, of course!)

Insomniac Games came out with some hilarious videos publicizing what it's like to work in their studio. The best part about it is this: they're really hiring!

While a lot of developers have chosen to go the multiplatform route to increase sales and reach, Insomniac Games has revealed that they will still be sticking with Sony for their next release.

Europe is overrun by extraterrestrials, Sergeant Nathan Hale is the sole survivor of an alien attack, and it's up to you to save the world. But before all that, let's go behind the scenes with the Insomniac Games crew as they tell us a little something about Resistance 2.

November 4. Keep that date in mind if you want to be one of the first to get a copy of Resistance 2. With their legion of Chimeras, Insomniac Games will be invading the the PlayStation Store in San Francisco's Metreon for their midnight launch event.

So why is it, pray tell, that most of the games we see today are either sequels or spin-offs? You've got Gears of War 2, BioShock 2, Resident Evil 5, Patapon 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War III, Fable 2... the list goes on. Yes, from time to time new IPs pop into the picture, but they're few and far between, unfortunately.
