Autobots - Image 1There's certainly a lot of anticipation for the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie, but what about the video game? While there are still mixed feelings about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, that's not gonna stop the Autobots and Decepticons from putting on a show, and they're gonna do so in a lot of platforms: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS, PS2, PC.

Megan Fox - Image 1Oh, foxy lady getting some action, eh? Fresh from The Transformers movie and well into production for Transformers 2, Megan Fox is now currently being rumored to play Tomb Raider babe Lara Croft in the next installment of the TR movie franchise.

Yeah, if she's not running around after the All-Spark, she's now going to hunt down other ancient relics.

Mega Man - Image 1So, would you rather watch a Uwe Boll movie or a low-budget fan-made movie? I'd go for the latter any day, if you ask me! Check out this trailer for a fan-made live-action movie for Mega Man. Pretty impressive, actually - considering it's got a budget of, like say, just as much as two hundred Happy Meals would cost.

Sony Price Dropping 40GB PS3 Model This Weekend - Image 1Well looks like Sony finally caved in and introduced a price drop. Don't get all excited though, the price drop is only for the discontinued 40 GB model. A leaked Blockbusters' memo shows that Sony is permanently dropping its price tag down US$ 40 to US$ 360. More details after the read more link.

UPDATE: SCEA reports that the price cut wasn't mandated by them. Looks like the price cut is just from Blockbuster.

Michael Bay: Microsoft secretly wants HD DVD, Blu-ray formats to both lose - Image 1Movie director Michael Bay, known for the recent successes of The Transformers and Bad Boys II, has been very vocal when it comes to the on-going format war between HD DVD and Blu-ray.

His latest "theory" about this is nothing short of controversial. According to him, Microsoft is not really for the HD DVD format. Bay reasoned the current format war is nothing but a diversion to create confusion among consumers. More on this after the jump!

Transformers: The Game - Image 1

Activision has announced that Traveller's Tales' Transformers: The Game (DS, PC, PSP, PS2, PS3, Wii, Xbox 360) has finally rolled out to retail stores nationwide. The game's release has been timed to coincide with the theatrical release of the Transformers live-action film.

"Transformers: The Game lets you choose your side – Autobots or Decepticons – to either protect or destroy Earth," said Will Kassoy, senior vice president of global brand management, Activision, Inc.

"The game features fully destructible environments, an army of playable characters, split second changes from robot to vehicle form and a storyline that goes beyond the film to include some elements from the property’s long history that will also appeal to Generation 1 fans."
