The PS3-exclusive beta for DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (game also on Xbox 360 and PC) is already available for download, so get it while it's still hot. There's a problem with the server, though, but they're working on it quick.

Just because last week saw some big releases doesn't mean there's nothing left to look forward to in the near future. Up next on the queue is Battlefield: Bad Company 2, the beta of which launches tomorrow. DICE any Sony are giving away beta codes for the affair, so tune in if you want a piece of that action.

Heads up to all PlayStation 3 owners! Sony has just revealed some more details about the upcoming PS3 firmware update version 3.10 which is scheduled to arrive "soon". The latest update will incorporate Facebook functionality into the console.

PS3 users have had access to Facebook and other social networking sites like Twitter for a while now thanks to the console's web browser. It looks like Sony wants to take it a step further though by integrating a Facebook icon directly into the XMB.

Yes, there will be a beta for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC) or at  least DICE has hinted at it. GameStop, however, has jumped the gun and posted a supposed date for the release of the said beta -- only to take it down later.

It's Halloween and Naughty Dog isn't gonna let the occasion pass without handing out a few treats. This one's much better than a handful of candy, though. You'll be getting an update for Uncharted 2 for improved gameplay AND they're throwing up a Double Cash Weekend to sweeten it some more. Yes, sweeter than candy.

It was last month when he/she asked if Cable was in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (PS3, PSP, PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS), and this bit of news will pretty much speak for itself. If that's not enough, there's a video that comes with it too. That's right - the hardcore time-traveler has come from the future to join in the action in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.

In a little under an hour from now, the PSN will undergo its regular maintenance. The downtime is then expected to last for "several hours", starting at 11PM PST.
