In the latest issue of the UK Official PlayStation Magazine (the same one that gave Metal Gear Solid 4 a solid 10 rating), they dished out some rumors that, if true, hint at good times ahead. Solid Snake's gotten pretty old, you say? Not with Regain, the new in-game energy drink! We're not kidding though - a bunch of new adverts are out promoting Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, and one advert has Snake promoting an energy drink. The lucky folks at the UK Official PlayStation Mag got first dibs on Hideo Kojima's masterpiece, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. And guess what? The game got a perfect 10. If you were beginning to think that Formula One games were starting to lose their spunk, there's some good news for you. Colin McRae's DIRT (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) and Race Driver: GRID (PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, Xbox 360, PC) creators Codemasters have secured an official licensing deal with the F1 Administration to develop games based on the world's most popular motorsport. Sony has announced that it's readying a new patch today that should fix some of the problems that were reported for the PlayStation 3 port of Grand Theft Auto 4. While the patch is meant to fix the game's multiplayer connectivity problems, the Sony rep that it may also address another problem in GTA4's single-player mode.
