This is the week, guys! No more filler games! Well, alright, so we still have a couple of titles from the Imagine and Petz series, but never mind that. Big titles are coming out this week, and the publishers did not fail to beef up the lineup just before the Black Friday sales. It's a deluge of games, alright. Can your wallet handle it?

If you're feeling strapped for cash this past couple of weeks, particularly because of your latest purchases, Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2, too bad, cos there's another hot "2" title that you shouldn't miss. Assassin’s Creed II is quickly shaping up to be one of the year's blockbuster releases. We're just days away from launch, but for those of you who still hunger for more info on the game, here's a video interview with lead game designer Patrick Plourde.

It's not the November 13 announcement we've been waiting for (and it'd be a big disappointment if it was), but it appears that's not the only thing that Square Enix is putting together for on that day for Final Fantasy XIII. PlayStation Home is getting another round of updates, and one of them is a "never-before-seen Final Fantasy XIII video."

With the games release date just around the corner, Ubisoft has unvelied a brand new developer diary of Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) entitled "Home Sweet Home" in which they discuss the new features of the Animus, new details on assassin's villa and the games massive environment.

Ubisoft has rolled out a brand new trailer of Assassin's Creed 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC), this time focusing on the games different factions. Take a look at how this factions will help the games new protagonist Ezio complete various objectives on his quest for vengeance.

Having sold 2.5 million copies on its first month and hitting eight in 2009, Alta-yeer and Assassin's Creed definitely set the bar high for the trilogy. But as early as now, Ezio and Assassin's Creed II are expected to do much better, with pre-orders up 10-20% from their predecessor. According to Mike Hickey of Janco Partners, Assassin's Creed II will do better than the first, and it'll give a much-needed boost for Ubisoft and its Q3 numbers.

We've got a bunch of mystery games for you this Halloween week, as well as another one from the blood-curdling line of Ubisoft's Imagine titles, this time with Imagine Babyz Fashion. Headlining the line-up though would be Jak & Dexter for the PSP, the multi-platformer Lego Rock Band, and the new Need for Speed offering for handhelds, NFS: Nitro.
