PS3 - Image 1Sony is kind of known for its tasteless and sometimes crude ads. The more controversial it is, the better they seem to think it is. In fact, we almost expect them to pull off something that would shock civil sensibilities. And so here we are, with yet another attention-grabbing, gasp-inducing, peace-disturbing images from Sony, in promotion of PlayStation 3 in Chile.

Call of Duty: World At War - Image 1At the end of March, we received a pres release stating that Map Pack 1 for Treyarch's Call of Duty: World at War has successfully broken the downloads record on Xbox Live. The curious thing about it was that there was no figure attached to the report, although there was mention that more than 150 million people have already joined in the multiplayer around the world.  Today we solve that mathematical oddity as we have the figures for the said blockbuster Map Pack 1.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Image 1In a recent interview, Hank Keirsey, military adviser for the Call of Duty franchise, said that he believes the creation of well made, realistic war games actually help younger generations become aware of and gain an appreciation for those troubled times in history.

Hank Keirsey has been working with Infinity Ward since the first Call of Duty came out up to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). More on the interview in the full article.
