NO. - Image 1A man from Kentucky was charged for allegedly persuading an 11-year-old girl to send him nude pictures of herself using her PS3. Sick world we're living in, eh?

PlayStation HomeWho needs webcam conferences when you can have it over at PlayStation Home? Video conferences are so last year, especially now if you can have your avatar drop some cabbage patches or a running man while sealing a multimillion dollar deal over the network. Gives an entirely new definition to "working at Home," doesn't it? Yes, apparently, some companies are already testing out this new venture: virtual corporate meetings at Home. And that includes Microsoft!

PlayStation Eye - Image 1Here's something for those who want to get more mileage out of the PlayStation Eye camera. Someone's been able to create and optimize the drivers needed to control the camera via PC. The software is still being tested, but the latest update now has the Eye capturing at a good 60 frames per second. More after the jump.

While we've heard a lot about the EyeToy's next-gen coming, the PlayStation Eye for the PlayStation 3, here's something to finally put all the doubts about it to rest: an actual trailer video displaying just what the webcam-like device really is capable of. Real-time video input with the PlayStation 3's incredible graphics? Do WANT.

In this trailer video, we see the PlayStation Eye being extensively used in three very cool-looking titles - namely Operation: Creature Feature, The Trials of Topoq, and Aqua Vita.

The gameplay mechanics are pretty much the same with the EyeToy - your likeness and movements are key to progressing in the game, as you "interact" with the game's elements via the PlayStation Eye - while sporting some pretty awesome visuals. The Trials of Topoq puts a neat spin to it, with the little quirk that it uses your body movement to raise and lower tiles to tilt a ball through some pretty complicated mazes.

Sony's certainly upping the ante with the PlayStation Eye, and we can't help but be impressed. Check it out and see if you would be, too.
