Time to take that walk in the historic Abbey Road as MTV Games, Harmonix and Apple Corps, Ltd. announced today the launch of Abbey Road (1969) as the first of the Beatles' album to be released as downloadable content. The DLC will be landing in The Beatles: Rock Band (PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii)Music Store on October 20 for the Xbox 360 and Wii, and October 22 for the PS3.

Anyway, as previously announced, Green Day is gonna make their July 7 schedule into Rock Band 2 (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2), for the Wii version at the very least. "When I Come Around" may not be in the first batch, but I'm still hoping that the Dookie album will have its day.

A new DLC pack is headed for the Guitar Hero: World Tour (360, PS3, Wii), and this time, it's for all the punk rockers in all of us. Even the name of the pack is punk-sounding, with Epitaph Punk-O-Rama Track Pack as the title. Obviously, as you may also see from the name, it's all about the Epitaph artists. List after the jump.

Mega Man 9 is just about to hit online networks (WiiWare, September 22; PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, September 25) and already, the first round of DLC is being geared up. So what can we expect from Capcom's first-ever Mega Man 9 DLC? The nuts and bolts of it: Proto Man becomes playable!

The latest title in Capcom's original Mega Man series, Mega Man 9, has finally been given a North American release date. We'll be seeing a staggered release for the downloadable game starting next week. Hit the jump for the release dates.

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan has just announced that there will be some new Edy cards coming out for the PlayStation Network on December 13.

Much like the PlayStation Network Ticket that came before them, these Edy cards are used specifically to top up PlayStation Network accounts so that users can purchase things digitally through PSN.
