QuickJump QuickPeek Special Edition: The E3 2009 Round-up - Image 1It's over. It's done. E3 2009 has come and gone, and the worldwide gaming community is left to sift through the announcements, reveals, videos, hype and promises that came out of the yearly gaming expo this past week.

NPDSo the latest NPD results are out. Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg got a head start and already snuck in some stink bombs on the arena. Well, today, we get to hear more reactions on February's sales figures, this time from Sony, Nintendo, and (again) Microsoft. This via Gamespot.

Aaron Greenberg Responds To Statements Made By Kaz Hirai - Image 1It just never ends. Sony's Kazuo Hirai recently threw some mud Microsoft's way when he said that the Xbox 360 had "no longevity," and that the PS3 will have a higher install base by the end of its life cycle. Aaron Greenberg, Microsoft's fanboy spokesperson Xbox Product Management Director, has a few things to say about that.

Microsoft: Xbox will keep edge, even if PS3 prices drop - Image 1If and when the PlayStation 3 gets a price cut, practically everyone expects sales to boom, if not completely skyrocket to the moon. Enough to catch up and totally whoop the Xbox 360 perhaps? Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg isn't worried about it at all.

Aaron Greenberg - Image 1Aaron Greenberg shares a few words with G4TV and lets us in on a little more PS3-sniping, and more citing of figures that the Xbox 360 and Wii have that the PS3 does not. PlayStation HomeA big "oh no, they didn't!" moment came about last week when Ernst & Young revealed that Microsoft is one of their many clients that are joining in on tests to see if PlayStation Home could become a viable environment for virtual corporate meetings. Today, Microsoft has dismissed these reports, saying that they have everything they need as it is.

PlayStation HomeWho needs webcam conferences when you can have it over at PlayStation Home? Video conferences are so last year, especially now if you can have your avatar drop some cabbage patches or a running man while sealing a multimillion dollar deal over the network. Gives an entirely new definition to "working at Home," doesn't it? Yes, apparently, some companies are already testing out this new venture: virtual corporate meetings at Home. And that includes Microsoft!
