A lot of people were hoping that the Capcom teaser site was for a new Onimusha game, but the fact that it was accessible from the Sengoku Basara portal kinda weighed the odds in favor of a new Basara game. And so it turned out to be just that.

Is Paul W.S. Anderson gearing up to make a new Resident Evil film? The answer would be yes, according to film website ShockTillYouDrop. A studio insider supposedly told them that Sony is in fact scheduling a release for September 17, 2010. This would be followed later on by a confirmation of the release date via an internal memo circulating the office.

You know what comes next after the European PS Store Update, yes? That's right, it's the US PS Store Update for the week of July 2, 2009. And it's a hefty one to serve you fine too, in time for the 4th of July weekend. I'm not really sure if everybody loves Raymond, but I think there's a bigger chance that everybody loves Shoryuken. In this trailer for the upcoming movie, Aliens in the Attic, Doris Roberts a.k.a. Raymond's mom pulls a Ryu and completely pwns Robert Hoffman.

Capcom is showering more love onto Sony's PlayStation consoles. Well, the PS3 and PSP anyway. They've announced that they'll be rolling out more downloadable classics on the PlayStation Store over the next few months.

Capcom is looking to have a simultaneous launch for the consoles and PC versions of Dark Void (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC), this much they confirmed to VG247. Apart from that, they also divulged some pertinent details about their other projects set to come out this year.

So Marvel vs Capcom 2's release date got moved. While that news sucks for those eagerly rubbing their hands in anticipation for this online fighter, it does give Capcom more time to create some extra hype. Case in point: they've recently released three new videos, all of which can be viewed after the jump.

Last week's batch may be a tough act to follow, but this week holds its own, bidding for your buck. The Call of Juarez prequel Bound in Blood (PS3, Xbox 360 and PC) is out now if you want a mean FPS. Games once again took center stage in the PS3 blog this week, and not just the retail titles too. PSN downloadables also took their time in the spotlight, especially Final Fantasy VII, which proved extremely bankable even after more than a decade.
