If you're a comic enthusiast then you've probably heard of uber-artist Alex Ross. If you're also looking forward to getting Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), then you'll be glad to know that Midway has tapped Ross' talents for the game's collectors edition.

Pitted against each other are the movie prod's claim that the Street Fighter movie will be coming out on March 2009 in a simultaneous launch with the SFIV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC) games. Ono-san, however, says he does not know of any simultaneous release. Confused much? Yeah, we are too. Good thing he also talks about parrying and a lot of other things.

Media Molecule is getting closer and closer to releasing its very promising creation LittleBigPlanet exclusively for the Sony PlayStation 3 this October.  The devs believe their title has the potential to be a big console seller, but they say the challenge is in making people aware of the product. We all know that Ubisoft and Jordan Mechner have been working on a new Prince of Persia video game for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Well, apparently that's not the only thing Mechner's been busy with. At this year's San Diego Comic-con he revealed that he is currently working on a follow-up to Karateka. Four new characters have been announced for Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), two from each side, and they should bring in some interesting play mechanics that ought to spice things up.

Time for some international pwnage. In a press release, Konami's announced that they'll be holding a Metal Gear Online World Championship 2008 event for this summer. Nice. It's open for pretty much everybody, and if you make it far enough in the tournament, not only do you get a free trip to Japan, you might find yourself smack in the middle of one of the video game industry's hottest annual events, the Tokyo Game Show!
