Get ready to do some trippin' in space as PomPom Games brings their furious shoot-em-up game, Space Tripper, right to the PSN. If you like blasting away at enemies in the wide, cold, expanse of space, then this game is definitely right up your alley.

It seems that Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII by Square Enix has been patented. So far, not much is known about the game since its initial introduction last May 2006. There has been much speculation on what the game will be about, but Square Enix has been quiet about it. They haven't even given information on what console it's coming out for. Still, we scrounged around and were able to get the following information on the game.

So far it is a commonly agreed upon notion that the game will be about certain "crystals". Beyond that is anyone's guess. Another possible clue may come from the Latin word in the title, as the English derivation of the Latin word "Haeresis" is "Heresies". This could mean that perhaps a heresy has been committed against a religion that is dominant in their universe. Perhaps it may have to do with a dominant crystal-worshiping religion which your character going against it? It could happen.

More information will be given at the Square Enix Party on May 12 and 13. A lot of people have been waiting patiently for information about this game, we hope the wait is worth it.

As we've mentioned before, Sonic the Hedgehog was first announced for the PS3 and Xbox 360 earlier this year. Yuji Naka, the man who designed Sonic, said that the game will use speeds that will only be made possible on next gen consoles. In the game, Sonic once again plays the speedy savior of Princess Elise, keeper of the Flames of Disaster, whom he rescues from the rotten Dr.Eggman.

Shadow the Hedgehog and Silver the Hedgehog (who has psychokinetic powers and will eventually be known as the Iblis Trigger) will also be featured, and both will be playable in the game. Unfortunately, it will only be a cameo for Amy Rose, Sonic's future girlfriend, who makes an appearance in the game but will be non-playable. Lisa Ortiz lends her voice for the character of Amy Rose while Jason Griffith will be doing Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog. Other voice artists include Pete Capella for Silver the Hedgehog and Veronica Taylor for Princess Elise.

SEGA has already confirmed that Sonic will be heading our way at the same time the PS3 does, which is this November 17th. The X360 version of the game will also be available at the same date.
