They have arrived. You can now avail yourselves of the Silver DualShock 3 controller for the PS3, and the rumored launch date buzzed back in April was pretty accurate, more or less.

Since its unveiling at E3, there hasn't been much info on the PS3 motion controller. Today will be different, now that we'll get a bigger picture of what the PlayStation Eye-powered controller has in store for us. Taking off from the details they revealed at the expo, Sony now coughs out more details for their motion control project.

This one's looking cool. Accessories4Gamers are just about ready to launch the new PlayStation 3 Wheel, taking full advantage of the SixAxis and the DualShock 3 controllers.

I wouldn't want to get lost in Hideo Kojima's mind. Judging by the twists and turns he's constantly presenting in his games his mind must be some kind of labyrinthine maze where even a piece of string tied to the entrance won't help you find your way back. By my estimation, the Hideo Kojima tag is the one that's seen the most use on our PlayStation 3 blog this week, thanks to all the hubbub surrounding his next project. Anyone who's ever manned the average white collar job would know that you'd spend most of the work hours with your hands practically glued to the mouse and the keyboard. But for patent examiners at the European Patent Office (EPO), that's a thing of the past - all the tedious PC work they have to do, they do in hardcore gaming fashion. Instead of the usual tools of the trade, they prefer to work with "commercial game controllers" a.k.a. the DualShock 2.

From bulky to sexy - we've seen it happen before with the PSOne and the PS2. That probably fueled the PS3 redesign rumors that have been going around, especially after PlayStation Lifestyle reported that the PSP Go! won't be the only hardware redesign announcement from Sony at E3. But just like the White Dualshock 3 controllers, Sony denies this one, leaving us guessing as to what's gonna come out on E3.

It seems the PSP Go! isn't the only console redesign that Sony is rumored to be prepping for E3. PlayStation Lifestyle reports that they've caught word of another hardware redesign to be debuted by Sony at the annual gaming expo. A cheaper slim PS3? God I hope so.

Here's another one of those things that Sony says does not exist when in fact it does, and with pictures to prove it clear as daylight in the middle of summer -- or in this case, as white as the fleece on Mary's lamb. Or as white as a white DualShock 3 controller can get. Enough with with the similes. A white DualShock 3 controller has been spotted -- nay, bought at a Wal-Mart branch in Florida, and was subsequently denied by Sony.

It looks like the previous rumors of the Silver DualShock 3 getting a release in North America are now confirmed care of GameStop's weekly ad. Ooh, shiny!

This week couldn't get any juicier: rumors, announcements, and jaw-dropping batches of game media. Be sure you got a lot of time this weekend.
