Good news, PS3 owners. DICE and Electronic Arts have officially set a date for Battlefield: Bad Company 2's PS3 beta: November 19. PC gamers, on the other hand, will get in on an open beta in December. There will also be a demo launching early next year. Beta details and an announcement trailer are available after the jump.

Despite owing his fortune to his music, DMX has a few bones to pick with the music industry, condensing it all on a profanity-rich rant that lasts nearly two minutes. The rapper believes that the industry is holding out on artists like him, particularly with the CD sales. On that note, he also fires a few rounds at the video game industry for doing the same. Headlining the line-up though would be Jak & Dexter for the PSP, the multi-platformer Lego Rock Band, and the new Need for Speed offering for handhelds, NFS: Nitro. Electronic Arts has announced that Battlefield: Bad Company 2 will be getting a Limited Edition version too. The good news is it won't cost you a penny more than the standard edition. It'll come with six customization unlocks that give players an advantage in multiplayer matches at the same price as the standard edition. Details past the jump.

Electronic Arts and Double Fine Productions Inc. has announced that the first downloadable content for the heavy metal inspired third person action game Brutal Legend (PS3, Xbox 360) will be coming to PSN and Xbox LIVE this November.

This is true for Electronic Arts' video game interpretation of the Divine Comedy, Dante's Inferno (PS3, PSP, Xbox 360). Their latest predicament involves a nanny group not being so happy about the game's "Bad Nanny" achievement.

Electronic Arts has announced a new addition to the Madden NFL videogame franchise. This one's not the yearly iteration however. Instead, it's an arcade-style 5-on-5 football title called Madden NFL Arcade.

Michael Pachter of Wedbush Morgan is betting on Electronic Arts' Jack Black starrer, Brutal Legend (PS3, Xbox 360) to be this holiday's sleeper hit. He was quick to qualify, however, that it's not gonna be that much of a smash hit, but a hit, nonetheless.
