There were already a few signs hinting that Atari was having some trouble holding on to the Dragon Ball franchise. A couple of years ago, the publisher clashed with FUNimation over the game license. Namco Bandai announced last month that it had secured publishing rights to three new entries in the franchise. Today, Namco Bandai has announced that it's finishing what it started.

Europe will be getting two official limited editions of Namco Bandai's Tekken 6 (PlayStation 3,Xbox 360) thanks to the Japan development team. The said limited editions will be the Arcade Stick Edition and the Collectors Edition; these would be offered on top of the standalone game of Tekken 6 expected to come out to Europe this Autumn of 2009 for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360. "Outdated" would be how the director of the famed classic, Tekken, would describe the feature of unlockable characters in fighting games. Said Katsuhiro Harada, online play makes this "no longer useful."

The Playstation Store update for Europe is now available. This week, you have three excellent PSN games that includes the PS3 exclusive Punisher: No Mercy, an old school classic James Pond: Robocod, the massive PSP hit game Monster Hunter Freedom Unite plus four other PSP games, new add-on contents for MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10, LittleBigPlanet  and more.

Konami blew quite a few minds at E3 when they announced that Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima would be involved in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, their upcoming reboot of the Castlevania franchise. It has since come to light that the game is actually being made by Mercury Steam with Konami Europe producing. It wasn't even really a Castlevania game in the beginning. So just what does Kojima's involvement entail, then? The man himself answered that question in a recent Famitsu interview.

Following a lackluster update last week, this weeks Playstation Store Europe update is still kinda bland. Available starting today and will last for one week, Super Stardust HD gets a price reduction to celebrate the games second anniversary. A new downloadable puzzle game Zuma will also be available along with new add-on contents for LittleBigPlanet, MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and Rock Band Unplugged.

After the earlier helping of Tekken 6 screenshots, here's some more good news from Namco Bandai. They've finally given out official release dates for the game's PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions along with details on some pre-order goodies.
