DICE and Electronic Arts have officially set a date for Battlefield: Bad Company 2's PS3 beta: November 19. PC gamers, on the other hand, will get in on an open beta in December. There will also be a demo launching early next year. Beta details and an announcement trailer are available after the jump.

The good news is it won't cost you a penny more than the standard edition. PS3 Weekend Warrior - Image 1 Cross-game chat is one of those features that a vocal group of PS3 gamers has been clamoring for with every new firmware update. Word is that it's coming soon -- like "next update" soon -- but in the days since it was rumored to be inadvertently revealed by a Naughty Dog dev we haven't heard anything about it. God of...Springfield? - Image 1 Itching for that elusive God of War III demo? Those in Europe are gonna have to find something else to scratch with. Eurogamer reports that Sony has informed them that the God of War III demo will not be available in Europe for the rest of 2009.

Last June, it was confirmed that the US release has been bumped up to 2010. Today, Namco Bandai has sent out a press release confirming (re-affirming, if you must), the said release window, this time also applied for Europe and PAL territories.
