Including the bonus stages revealed in Famitsu recently, Super Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360) has a grand total of four new modes. Details and a video after the jump.

While it was not quite as fulfilling as giving another player a brutal beat down, the car-destroying minigame in Street Fighter II served as a sort of calming distraction from the constant fist, foot, and fireball on flesh action. We haven't seen it in any of the recent iterations of the series, but as shown in the latest issue of Famitsu, it may be making a return in Super Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360) along with the barrel smashing bonus stage.

It's numbers time yet again! Famitsu's come out with their hardware sales charts, albeit a bit late this week. Still on top: DSi. And what's this we see inching closer to the top, a mere 4,000 units shy? It's the PSP with 40,000, just a tad bit below the DSi who has 44,000. The Xbox 360, meanwhile, edges out over PS2 with just 2,000 more units sold.

The last we've heard of Final Fantasy Versus XIII was at the TGS 09 about a month ago. While Square Enix has been hit with criticisms as to the in-development footage of the game, Tetsuya Nomura has now come out to clear out the air by divulging some more information on the matter.

And then there's word that the PS3 is continuing its newfound sales spurt in the land down under. Oh, and here's a no-brainer: rumblings about new entries in two of the PS3's biggest franchises have started to trickle out from the rumor mill. All in all, another good week for the PS3. Well, except maybe for that one particular console they threw into the Bravia. It didn't seem to get too banged up though.

Japanese gaming mag Famitsu comes up big once again with a whole bunch of images from the scene's hottest. Kotaku managed to get their hands on a whole bunch of scans off their latest issue, and we've got info on the latest character for Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360, PS3).

Japanese magazine Famitsu has given out its verdict for Platinum Games' Bayonetta, and what do you know, it got a perfect score of 40/40. Here's the thing, though. Not only did it get a perfect 40, it also got a 38.

Way back in July, Famitsu managed to get first dibs on a sequel to White Knight Chronicles. Months later, Sony reveals solid info shedding more light on the second WKC, with screenshots to sweeten the deal. Today's that day, so check 'em out and stay up to speed.
