PSOne Classics - Image 1The ESRB's ratings page has done a bang-up job lately of giving us an idea of what big games are coming to the PSOne Classics service next. We saw Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid and we got 'em (although the latter is still launching this week), so there's no reason to believe that this new entry in the listings is bogus.

Final Fantasy VII - Image 1The Examiner is reporting that Square Enix' Final Fantasy VII has just earned for itself the recognition of being the PSN's top download since its launch last week. Debuting at US$ 9.99, the famed RPG title is now the most in demand for both the PSP and PS3.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete - Image 1The much-awaited Blu-ray copy of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete hit stores in Japan last week, carrying with it the demo for Final Fantasy XIII (PS3, Xbox 360). According to the early software sales reports, the movie is doing very well, selling over 100,000 copies on its first day.

Final Fantasy VII International - Image 1If you have a Japanese PSN account and is a HUGE fan of Final Fantasy VII, then this is sure to be great news for you. In anticipation of next week's Japanese release for Advent Children Complete (with the FFXIII demo), Square Enix has released Final Fantasy VII International for the PSOne Classics (otherwise known as the Japanese Games Archives service) today!

FF7 Ultimania - Image 1You think you know the FF7 universe all the way up to, and including, Crisis Core? Studio Bent Stuff, the guys in Japan responsible for the FF Ultimania guides, is taking advantage of the upcoming release of FF7: Advent Children Complete. The FFVII 10th Anniversary Ultimania, which was more recently released side-by-side with Crisis Core: FF7, is getting an update to reflect new info released for the FF7 universe.
