Ever since Sony confirmed the God of War Collection for the PS3, I've been wondering what combo can come next. Everybody's got their own bets, but a pack combining ICO and Shadow of the Colossus seems to be one of the more popular ideas. In fact, even Team Ico head honcho Fumito Ueda wants to see it happen.

Fumito Ueda, director and lead designer for the hit video games Ico and Shadow of the Colossus is not a big fan of GTA IV (Xbox 360, PS3) and Super Mario Galaxy - both hit video games too in their own rights. He expresses his opinion on this issue and more in the latest issue of LEVEL magazine.

Now that Team Ico's latest project -- the PS3 exclusive The Last Guardian -- has been revealed, it's now time to delve a little more into what the new game offers. Thankfully, Japanese gaming mag Famitsu scored an interview with Team Ico's Fumito Ueda, who gave out more details.

Here are some potpourri updates on three developers you should be keeping your eye on: Shadow of the Colossus and Ico creator Fumito Ueda, No More Heroes creator Goichi Suda, and Fallout 3 developer Emil Pagliarulo. These three participated in a panel discussion during GDC and revealed details (no matter how sparse) on their current projects.

Hold on to your seats, folks. It looks like we're finally going to be able to get a glimpse at Team ICO's ultra-secret game! The new game following the spirit of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus is now confirmed to appear in E3 in the form of a trailer and some gameplay footage.

FPS and fighting games can be the life of the party, but the games that have a real impact on us are the ones that we connect with on an emotional level. ICO and Shadow of the Colossus are two such games, and developer David Cage says that's the kind of impact he wants for Heavy Rain.

Team ICO's games are mostly known for their unearthly beauty, but on a more fundamental tune, they are also known for gameplay based on contact. Team ICO's game designer Fumito Ueda says that their third game will be based on a similar physical connection.

Time to cast in those votes! What will Team ICO's next game be? Will it follow Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, or both? Whatever the game may be, the facts are these: a) Team ICO is working on a PS3 title, and b) it may finally be revealed by 2009. At least, Sony's Shuhei Yoshida hopes so. Shhh, be vewwy vewwy quiet! Mention Ico or Shadow of the Colossus to PlayStation 2 owners and chances are you'll conjure up WAFFU memories of young love and enormous beasts.
