Insomiac has revealed some of the pre-order goodies for Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. The bonus items will be available starting today at Amazon.com, Best Buy, Game Crazy, GameStop and other participating retailers. Each retailer will offer an exclusive package so better check them first before pre-ordering your game.

Heads up, Ratchet and Clank fans! Your favorite Lombax and his robot sidekick are en route to an appearance in Media Molecule's LittleBigPlanet. Sony has confirmed the Ratchet and Clank content in the wake of a tweet from Insomniac Games that mentioned the new LBP content.

In Insomniac Games' latest tweet, they hint of some form of Ratchet & Clank content from Media Molecule headed for LittleBigPlanet. On the outset, it looks like a level pack... and then some: "lbp levells coming, r&c content done, coming soon hopefully, up next for mm, big pack, bigger than mgs even." Yeah, leave it up to Twitter's tweeting maximum of 160 characters for giving us announcements that are a bit too vague. Let's parse that message, shall we?

Ever wondered what it's like to work at a gaming studio much like Insomniac Games? Imagine: beef jerky, masseurs, a free cruise for your time off? (Oh, and getting to play Resistance and Ratchet & Clank games waaaay ahead of everyone else, of course!)

The new Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time gets its debut trailer today! Well, not so much a trailer as it is a teaser. That Lombax at the end of the vid gets me giddy. Considering the title of this third game in the trilogy and the fact that the story promises to reveal more of our two lead characters' early beginnings... who's this other Lombax? Oooh, could it be? Could it be?

Insomniac Games just sent out a press release announcing a new Ratchet & Clank game set to be released this fall. Titled Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time, this title promises to show us the origins of both title characters, as well as their destinies.

The Chimera had better pucker up for more punishment because by tomorrow, trigger-happy players of Resistance 2 will have more reasons to bring the fight back to the nasty extraterrestrials. Tomorrow, March 26th, is the day that the new Resistance 2 DLC will be available, along with the 1.50 patch that'll make the online alien-hunting experience much more enjoyable.

Keep a close eye on the PlayStation Store this Thursday, guys. Insomniac's getting ready to drop some DLC bombs for Resistance 2. Details and a video after the jump.

While a lot of developers have chosen to go the multiplatform route to increase sales and reach, Insomniac Games has revealed that they will still be sticking with Sony for their next release.

Looking for a bit of a challenge? The Insomniac Games team, the people behind Resistance 2 themselves, are going to log on to the PlayStation Network this Friday for an hour of multiplayer fun.
