VidZone, the free online music video service for the PS3 will be expanding to 11 new countries in Europe this month.

The 27th annual Golden Joysticks Awards were announced in London earlier today, giving props to the games that shaped the industry in the past year. It's only been a day since Tekken 6 hit retail (officially, at least), and already it's making its way into the record books - the Guinness Book of World Records, in particular. Taking a look at the action down at the London MCM Expo over the weekend, Guinness officials crowned the new record holder for the longest Tekken 6 winning streak.

This sounds grim. Speakers at the upcoming London Games Conference are forecasting that in three years' time, retail would have been outstripped by digital distribution. Not only that, but 40% of the companies in the games industry will be caught unprepared for this shift in consumer choice.

Eight Days and The Getaway 3 were supposed to be a pair of PS3 exclusive from Sony's London Studio. Production on both titles ceased last year due to "redistribution of resources and budget" towards what eventually became EyePet. With the studio now finishing up on EyePet, attention has turned again towards the "canceled" projects. The quotes are there because according to producer and creative art director Nicolas Doucet, both games haven't really been abandoned.
