Four new characters have been announced for Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), two from each side, and they should bring in some interesting play mechanics that ought to spice things up.

Midway has announced that it will be merging its San Diego and Los Angeles Studios by this September. Among other things, this merger may have a direct effect on the work of the development team behind TNA iMPACT! (Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii). EA Sports may have the exclusive rights to develop NFL games, but more and more publishers are finding ways to capture the football audience with titles not based on the league. Take for instance Midway Games' Blitz: The League - it offers what looks like great visuals, intense action, and a deep array of modes to keep any gridiron game fan happy. A part of me struggles against the idea of pitching Superman against, well, anybody, but getting him to kick the lights out of Shang Tsung and the rest of the Mortal Kombat roster makes me... scratch my head.
