There's gonna be a lot of news stuff on the European PlayStation Store again this week. For one, the Queen track pack will be available for download. A few PSOne classics will also be joining in, plus more downloadable games due up will finally be available. Check the list out right here.

The latest European PlayStation Store update is now available. This week's content includes a Crash Commando fill game price cut,  three new downloadable games featuring Smash Cars and Battle Tanks, playable demos of F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn and NHL 10 and more. For Batman: Arkham Asylum fans, now is your change to add the Joker in the game for free while PSP owners can get hold of Dynasty Warriors. More after the jump.

Dare not cheat the system, for the arms of the law are long -- and can get all your money away, leaving you bankrupt. This is what publishers out there should be warned of. The ELSPA is serious with their business, and you bet you'll get fined big time if you lie to PEGI.

We've had some heavy-hitting gaming news this past week, say for example Ghostbusters: The Video Game's very apparent graphics discrepancy on competing consoles Xbox 360 and PS3. But I'd have to say that the Industry News section of our QuickPeek is clearly the winner of the highlights award for our 77th issue. From ratings boards to company love-teams, to digital distribution vs retailers, Obama's take on indoor (video)gaming versus outdoor frolicking, CEO slip-ups, cover-ups, retractions and apologies, threats to drop support for a console (as in, it's friendship over for Sony, Activision), we've got all the drama -- and more -- right here. Last week's PlayStation Store Europe Update was huge, so what about this week you asked? Well this week, things have calmed down a bit. You'll have the usual Guitar Hero: World Tour and Rock Band add-on contents, a free MotorStorm: Pacific Rift pack, five video trailers and a free Assassin’s Creed 2 Wallpaper.

 Following the government decision to uphold PEGI as the sole and official ratings board in UK, the BBFC has sent their well-wishes, albeit still with that restrained barb. BBFC Director David Cooke insisted that the BBFC would have been the better choice. Meanwhile, top industry heads are giving their praises for the government's pick. In our earlier article about PEGI becoming the UK standard for game ratings, some of you expressed skepticism on how the monotone PEGI labels could fare better that the BBFC's brighter ones. Well, PEGI has the answer: they've added a splash of color to their rating labels.

The UK government has announced that it will be going with the PEGI ratings system as the standard form of videogame classification in the region. The PEGI system will be implemented for every game released in the UK. The BBFC, which used to handle games classification, will stick to classifying and rating films and DVDs.

It looks like Sega's not only targeting Xbox Live Arcade for another Gunstar Heroes re-release. Ratings from both the ESRB and PEGI have hinted at a possible PlayStation Network stint for the Genesis shooter.

European ratings body PEGI as well as North America's ESRB have a new listing up indicating that a new Call of Duty game is headed to Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Should we expect an entirely new game, or a remake of the first-ever CoD game?
