Version 1.03 update is now out for MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, and this one should set you for the upcoming Expansions. To download, just connect to the PSN, insert the disc to run the game, and accept the download when prompted. Do note that if you want to gain access to the online sections of the game, you will have to get this download. Games once again took center stage in the PS3 blog this week, and not just the retail titles too. PSN downloadables also took their time in the spotlight, especially Final Fantasy VII, which proved extremely bankable even after more than a decade. This right here is why Square Enix won't ever stop milking the Final Fantasy franchise. Meanwhile, the hardware front was full of firmware news -- a new one came out this week and another one is being rumored, although Sony's nipped the FW 3.0 rumors in the bud. Sony has recently revealed some random fun facts about inFamous, the super-hero exclusive game of Sucker Punch for the PS3. Included in the post, it was revealed that the game will be having it's own space in Playstation Home very soon.

Better yet, the space won't just be some big, elaborate ad to remind you of the game - it's gonna have a 64-player trivia-fest where you can pit your stock knowledge against other aimlessly dancing avatars. The Chimera has invaded the PlayStation Home! Like, right now. The Resistance Space in Home is now open, and it brings along with it a recreation of the Chicago Railway Station level from Resistance 2. But it's not all homey-like as you have a challenge to complete.
