PS3 Weekend Warrior - Image 1Games once again took center stage in the PS3 blog this week, and not just the retail titles too. PSN downloadables also took their time in the spotlight, especially Final Fantasy VII, which proved extremely bankable even after more than a decade. This right here is why Square Enix won't ever stop milking the Final Fantasy franchise. Meanwhile, the hardware front was full of firmware news -- a new one came out this week and another one is being rumored, although Sony's nipped the FW 3.0 rumors in the bud. Read on for the rest of the PS3 Weekend Warrior.

Killzone 2's Visari - Image 1Now that the European PlayStation blog is live, it's terribly exciting to see all those first posts go up. Especially if it's about a game we all love to hear about. Victor Zuylen gave the PS Blog Europe his first post, and it's on Killzone 2 and its coming content on Home at that.

E3 at PlayStation Home - Image 1Not everyone can make it to the Convention Center in LA, where the Electronic Entertainment Expo is chucking out big game details left and right as we speak. Too bad, right? But the guys behind PlayStation Home have come up with the next best thing - if you can't come to E3, then they'll bring E3 right into your Home. More after the jump.

PS3 Weekend Warrior - Image 1This is the last PS3 Weekend Warrior before we go into full-on E3 2009 mode. Most companies are still trying to keep whatever info they're revealing at E3 under wraps, but thankfully we still got a few big updates the past week, otherwise this edition of the Weekend Warrior would consist only of one bullet point telling everybody to watch out for our E3 coverage (which you should totally watch out for, by the way). Anyway, read on for the rest of the PS3 Weekend Warrior.

PlayStation Home - Image 1PlayStation Home is expected to get some much-welcome BUZZ! very soon as the quiz show game has been announced to get some space for the online front. Better yet, the space won't just be some big, elaborate ad to remind you of the game - it's gonna have a 64-player trivia-fest where you can pit your stock knowledge against other aimlessly dancing avatars. Video after the jump.
