The PS3 is certainly all over the news right now, isn't it? Even BBC is getting in on the action, but not in a way that you'd think. BBC's Watchdog program is set to feature the PS3 in a report, claiming that Sony is refusing to fix systems suffering from the YLOD, or the Yellow Light of Death. The report also threw the PS3 hardware reliability into question, prompting Sony to immediately rush to the defense of their console. |

SCEE's on a roll now. Not only did they just achieve their first UK number one in two years, in the form of Killzone 2,
it has also just been revealed by Ray Maguire that the PlayStation
consoles have reached sales milestones. The PS3 is reported to have hit
the 2 million mark, while the PSP is at 3 million. |

It wasn't that long ago when the PlayStation 3's game library wasn't anything more than attacking the weak point of giant crabs for massive damage. Back then, Sony kept plugging the console's functionality - but now, SCEE UK's Ray Maguire says that this Christmas, they're "all about the games."Details after the link. |

For the longest time now, the PlayStation 3 was stuck in an awkward position. It's the most powerful console on the market (there, I said it!) but it also has the smallest gamer base (there, I said that too!). So when it came to making multiplatform games, some (most) devs would just make the Xbox 360 version and just port it to the PS3.SCEE UK's Ray Maguire suggests this may not be the case for long though. Details after the link. |

Who's resting on their laurels? Definitely not Sony. Despite the huge success proven by their PlayStation 3, Ray Maguire says they're still not satisfied with what they've achieved so far. They've got miles to go and more to offer he says. Read up on it after the jump. |

For such a highly anticipated game like LittleBigPlanet, it's understandable that its delay caused quite a stir... to put it mildly. Sony sticks by its decision though, saying that "it's about respect." Anyway, the game's here now, right? No worries.Click. |

Microsoft's been really busy rounding up exclusive DLC. First there was Grand Theft Auto IV, then Fallout 3, then Tomb Raider: Underworld. What does Sony have to say about it?"Nothing is ever exclusive." How cryptic. What do you guys think? Will Sony try to bag these exclusive DLC as well? Will GTA4 for the PS3 get some DLC lovin? |
