PS3 Slim - Image 1The release was supposed to be for early September, but now that the PS3 Slim is available, retailer supplies aren't even gonna last until then . The newly-announced, slimmed-down model of the PlayStation 3 is apparently selling so hot that retailers' first shipments have already been sold out.

Square Enix - Image 1Uh-oh. Square Enix is in trouble. No, they're not pulling out Final Fantasy XIII, though that alone would cause some major problems for them as well. Rather, they're being sued. Yes, Square Enix is being sued with a federal class action, claiming that Square Enix of America has "deceived 100,000 customers by not being upfront about fees and penalties."

NIS America - Image 1A couple of weeks ago, NIS America announced that they were announcing a "unique and fun" PSP game. The following day, the publisher did good on their promise and announced that they were localizing and publishing Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman: What Did I Do to Deserve This? Well today, they announced that they're not yet done with their surprises, and in fact has got an event lined up. With a possible new PS3 title. Holy Invasion... for the PS3?

Game Developers Conference - Image 1Fresh from the press release mailbox is the success from the recently-concluded Game Developers Conference. The press release came with the heading, "2009 Game Developers Conference Once Again Serves As Focal Point For Worldwide Videogame Industry," plus a few stats on this year's events that made the whole thing, in their words, a "week of learning, networking, and inspiration."

Tecmo - Image 1Tecmo has sent out invitations to an event at the Metreon's PlayStation Store in San Francisco where they're going to announce a new title this March 24. The invites didn't reveal anything about the game in question, except that it will be "the greatest "_____" game, ever!". Yep, that blank space is supposed to be there.

PSN Video Content Update - Image 1PSN Video Content update here, and it seems like a dry batch for this week, sad to say. But for those who love Kate Beckinsale like I do, Underworld should be a good kick, not to mention makes a good refresher for Rise of The Lycans. PlayStation - Image 1They may be closing their PlayStation outlet in the Metreon Center in San Francisco, but Sony is still pushing forward to promote its brands. This week, Sony will be all over a 14-screen cinema complex at The Oaks shopping center in LA, featuring of course, nothing but Sony and PlayStation goodness. More info inside.
