Metreon PlayStation store closing - Image 1After nearly a decade of being the one-stop shop for Sony gamers, the PlayStation Store in San Francisco's Metreon will be closing.

While this is practical news only for San Fran residents, this also means that we won't see PlayStation-specific stores pop up anywhere else if Sony's giving up such a prime location.

PlayStation StoreBring out the popcorn, invite your sweetie over. It's time to give you PS3 a break from all the gaming and use it for other recreational things. This week's PlayStation Network Video Store content update has Underworld (just the first one though), if you guys want to catch up before watching the new Rise of the Lycans movie. There's also the new TV series, Fringe, which I heard some good things about but never actually got to watch yet. Oh and of course some classics, American Psycho and Carrie. (Perfect if you want some cuddle action!)

Street Fighter IV San Francisco Fan Club - Image 1Capcom really went all out on the promotions for Street Fighter IV (PS3, 360) with their series of Fight Club events. In the full article is a video of their San Francisco Fight Club where fans and rookies of the game got together and fought it out. Jeff Rubenstein also got a few words from Mr. Street Fighter IV, Seth Killian, as well as John Diamonon and talked about the game and the event.
