Well, SCEE isn't letting those quizzes take center stage any longer - Buzz! now has a Facebook App that'll quiz your brains out, testing your knowledge of your friends...and to see if you actually stop to read your friends' posts.

Japan sure is lucky! They're getting both the PS3 and Xbox 360 bundles for Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 starting November, thanks to Konami. The bundles will reportedly cost JP¥ 38,000 (UK£265/ US$ 422.38). Bundle details after the jump.

Things are starting to settle down on the PS3 blog. The Slim's out but we won't be seeing if it has had any significant effect on the console's sales until the NPD report for September comes out. What we do have this week though is another long-ago rumor that came true: a Blu-ray compilation that contains God of War and God of War 2. The PS2 has been around for almost ten years now, but it's still going as strong as can be expected from a last generation console. It has sold more than any other console to date, both home and handheld, but SCEE boss Andrew House believes that the PS3 will eventually trump it in terms of lifecycle.

Sorry, Europe. But you're not getting God of Wars I & II on the PS3. Well, just not this year. Hopefully.

The worldwide campaign of PS3 is on aggressive mode as SCEE released these two UK TV spots for the console, following the hugely-welcomed price cut and newest PS3 Slim. It's not as fun as the US version, having simply focused on the things that the console can do, and minus the humorous skits we've seen in the other videos, but it drives home the point well nonetheless. With the impending announcement of an Xbox 360 price drop just around the corner, Sony has firmly stated that it will not push back the launch of PS3 Slim to compete with  Microsoft’s discounted Xbox 360 Elite model.

As consumers slowly start picking out their big holiday purchases, Sony makes its move and launches a lucrative campaign to ensure that those purchase plans wander along the lines of "PlayStation 3." How lucrative? Well, only about £ 82 million worth.

By now every Sony watcher knows that they've booked three hours for their conference at next week's GamesCom event in Cologne. As it turns out, though, the guys from Sony won't be spending all of that time talking on stage and showing off whatever new stuff they've brought along. In fact, the conference itself will only last for just over an hour.

Brace yourselves. The time may be ripening for the eagerly anticipated, rumor-worn major PS3 announcement. MCV reports that the stock of PS3s in the UK are running low, which may indicate that Sony is preparing for a big move that could prove to be a crucial factor in the life of their console. Price cut? PS3 Slim? Or both?
