Despite complaints from some gamers that the controls in the Killzone 2 demo was a little laggy, Guerrilla Games has decided not to change the system, saying that the game is intended to be a weighty, tactical experience.

Ok, eBay lurkers. If you're looking to score yourself a copy of Killzone 2 promotional copies, don't count on getting early access to multiplayer. Guerilla Games said they won't be able to play online with it.

It looks like Sony Computer Entertainment UK kind of flubbed up their announcement regarding the September release date for Guerrilla Games' Killzone 2. The developers earlier amended Sony's announcement and mentioned that the game still has no definite release date as of yet. Good news Killzone fans! Seb Downie of Guerrilla Games has confirmed the public beta for Killzone 2 for the PlayStation 3. The news was announced at Guerrilla Games' official forums with Downie under the handle motherH:

Of course there is going to be a public beta, I have always said that any game that has an online mode needs to go through a public beta to ensure it works as intended.
