Kojima's so good at what he does that he only needs one lifetime to get his second lifetime achievement award. Word has just gone out that living legend Hideo Kojima will be given this high distinction at the 2009 Game Developers Choice Awards. |

Just like Europe, North America isn't getting any new PS3 demos with this week's PlayStation Store update (there is one for PSP). There's still a lot of new stuff, though: the full Age of Booty game, PAIN's The Hoff character and Movie Studio lot, the usual weekly track packs, and a huge helping of FIFA 09 and Need For Speed: Undercover DLC. The full list is after the jump. |

It's Christmas every week at Sony's PlayStation Store as they regularly bring us new goodies to enjoy. This week sees a lot more game content such as the action packed time traveling game, Linger in Shadows, and free demos that you wouldn't want to miss. There are also some new tunes from Offspring for your Rock Band needs, and then some more. |

Gamers in North America finally have a reason to celebrate as Firaxis and 2K Games recently announced the official release date of Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution (Xbox 360, PS3, and DS) in the region. Following the June 6 release in Europe, gamers in the States will now be able to enjoy the same turn based strategy addiction Civilization Revolution has to offer as it's all cleared for launch this June 8. More details about this in our full article after the jump. |

Wondering if Firaxis' Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution (Xbox 360, PS3, DS) will ever be announced for the PC platform, here's some bad news: the possibility of it existing on our gaming rigs has pretty much been stretched into infinitesimal thinness. A producer from 2K Games has confirmed that it can't be on the PC - and the how and why, as well as the who, are at the full article. |

Taking all the talk of a takeover by Electronic Arts aside, it's still business as usual for Take-Two Interactive, which released its financial reports for the first quarter of 2008. The report held a number of interesting things, including an official confirmation of BioShock 2 and its still vague pending release date, news on coming games, and even a restatement of Grand Theft Auto 4's release date.
