PS3 and Xbox 360 - Image 1There's no denying that some of the most addictive games out there are MMOs. But if you find it frustrating that you can't have them on your beloved PS3 and Xbox 360, blame Sony and Microsoft. According to Star Trek Online captain Craig Zinkievich, the two publishers don't understand console MMOs, making it difficult to bring the games to their respective systems.

Tomb Raider movie - Image 1Terminator: Salvation producer Dan Lin has rights over the next Tomb Raider movie, and from what he says, it's going to be a reboot. Oh don't act all surprised - we heard earlier that the new movie will be getting a fresh start. More details on this though: the way Lin describes it, Lara's new movie - an origins-type of movie - won't be full-on action but will go deeper into the character. Kinda like Dark Knight, perhaps? Well, what ever the case, you can definitely scratch Angelina Jolie from the role - they're looking for someone younger.

Star Trek DACSo J.J. Abrams' new Star Trek movie is hitting theaters this weekend (gods know if I can still reserve some tickets - frak it p'tahk!). And in light of the movie's release, we now have a debut trailer for the accompanying XBL/PSN game. This one's actually got some little footage from the movie alternating with some gameplay clips for Star Trek: D.A.C. too. Phasers, on!

Star Trek movie game will be all muilti-player action - Image 1Unusual enough for a movie-based video game, Star Trek: D.A.C. won't be tying into the story of the upcoming Star Trek reboot flick. In fact, it doesn't even have a story. The game will be all top-down, multiplayer space battles. Sorta like a multiplayer Geometry Wars.

Details after the link.

PSN - Image 1Popcorn time! Whether you're looking for TV shows or movies, another big batch of them is going live on the PSN. I see a couple of gems in there. The Prestige (the book was a good read too!), Teen Titans: Trouble in Tokyo (who says grown ups can't watch cartoons too?), and Timeline (rest in peace, Michael Crichton...). Entire video content update list in the full article.
