NES Controller - Image 1After 8 years and 12 piercings, BME user metal_games wants to move on to other forms of art he can apply to his body. But instead of going down the tattoo road, this guy opted to go for scarification, wherein you intentionally scar yourself to create a pattern or an image. The interesting bit here is that the design isn't what you usually see - it's the image of the NES controller. For the squeamish, the pics may not be too suitable for you guys.

FF13 SnowOther than the figurines displayed at Jump Festa, we haven't really seen any other Final Fantasy XIII merchandise. And this time, they're accessories you can carry on your person and not something to be ogled at from the other side of a display case (unless you're that type of collector). No, they're not Vanille's pig-tails. And no, it's not Sazh's afro either. They're actually based off of Snow's tattooed symbol on his arm... which makes me think... why that of all things?

Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe - Image 1I never thought I'd see the day when Fatalities aren't set ablaze, mutilated, or even look like they hurt at all. Ed Boon shares his thoughts on Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3), and how difficult it was to mellow the bloodthirsty MK folks down to kid-friendly DC level.

It's the Miami Vice of South America!

It may have elements resembling a GTA clone, but a military GTA clone still happens to be a lot of fun. While Mercenaries, the first game in the series, brought some laughs and a lot of firepower (Merchant of Menace FTW!), these screenshots for Pandemic Studios' Mercenaries 2: World in Flames make us both drool and smile.

Why? Because some of them deserve weird captions and they still look good at the same time!

For instance, take a look the picture above. Don't they look like some radical version of "Miami Vice"? They look good and all, especially the impressively detailed tattoo on the shoulder there, but it still brings to mind Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell. Let's hope they talk as convincingly as they look. Meanwhile, in the other four screenshots we have for you, expect to see someone walking on the cannon barrel of a tank, Mohawk Man grabbing a ride on a helicopter, and a really cool tank blowing stuff up.

By the way, did anyone notice how strangely similar the guy in the background on the top picture looks like the guy in front? We thought so. Enjoy the screenies!

blood compact

No, this is most definitely not news. And while this article may not contain anything earth-shattering, mind-boggling, gravity-defying, universe-altering tidbit on the current standing of video games in our lives, let's just say this is passion for gaming at its most colorful and most extravagant display.

These, my friends, are pictures of gamer tattoos harvested by thelastboss.com from their readers. Now, while it may elicit that "ouch" from you, it nevertheless succeeds in leaving us amazed at the threshold of these inkers for pain. And what beautiful misery it turned out to be.

So check it out and see how well your games. Can anyone find Wally?

Much, much more after the jump!
