45nm cell processor in 2009 - Image 1Godzilla proved that size matters. But if being uber big has its advantages, so does being uber small. Come 2009, Sony and Toshiba will begin mass producing the 45nm Cell processor for the PlayStation 3. That means smaller models that run cooler, and on less electricity - but what I'm really looking forward to is a possible price drop.
